Facebook Reels Monetization & Play Bonus Calculator
Estimate your Facebook Reels earnings under Meta's Content Monetization program based on monthly plays, effective RPM, and eligibility thresholds.
Facebook Reels Earnings Formula
Meta retired the standalone 'Reels Play Bonus' program in most regions and folded Reels earnings into the unified Facebook Content Monetization (FCM) program (launched August 31, 2025). Reels plays are valued at an effective RPM (revenue per 1,000 plays), which is then multiplied by your monthly play volume.
Effective Reels RPM commonly falls between $0.02 and $0.15 per 1,000 plays for most English-language content, with higher-CPM niches (finance, B2B, insurance) occasionally exceeding $0.30. This is separate from in-stream ad RPM on longer videos, which can range from $0.50 to $8+ per 1,000 views with a 55% creator revenue share.
