Mathematical Audit

How Meeting Cost Is Calculated

Meeting cost is derived from the hourly rate of each attendee multiplied by the duration of the meeting.

Cost Per Meeting = Attendees × Average Hourly Salary × (Duration ÷ 60)
Weekly Cost = Cost Per Meeting × Meetings Per Week
Annual Cost = Weekly Cost × 52

Hourly salary is calculated from annual salary ÷ 2,080 working hours. Indirect costs like context-switching and post-meeting catch-ups are not included.
