Mathematical Audit

Twitch Subscription Earnings Formula

Subscription earnings are calculated based on subscription volume, price tiers, and the Plus Program point-based split levels.

Plus Points = Tier 1 Recurring × 1 + Tier 2 Recurring × 2 + Tier 3 Recurring × 6
Plus Program Split % = if Plus Points ≥ 300: 70%, if Plus Points ≥ 100: 60%, else: 50%
Recurring Subs Net = (Tier 1 Gross × Split %) + (Tier 2 Gross × Split %) + (Tier 3 Gross × Split %)
Gifted & Prime Subs Net = (Gifted + Prime) × $4.99 × 50% (fixed split)
Total Monthly Net = Recurring Subs Net + Gifted & Prime Subs Net

Plus Program point tallies reset monthly. Prime and gifted subscriptions do not contribute to Plus Points but are paid out at standard rates.
