Whop Seller Fee Formula

Whop charges a standard payment processing fee of 2.7% + $0.30 per transaction. Sellers who gate access to a Discord or Telegram community with automations pay an additional 3% platform fee. International cards add a further 1.5% surcharge.

Processing Fees = (Monthly Revenue × 2.7%) + (Number of Sales × $0.30)
Automation Fee = Monthly Revenue × 3% (if using Discord/Telegram community gating)
International Fee = Monthly Revenue × 1.5% (if selling to international customers)
Total Whop Fees = Processing Fees + Automation Fee + International Fee
Whop Net Payout = Monthly Revenue − Total Whop Fees
Gumroad Net Payout = Monthly Revenue − (Monthly Revenue × 10% + Number of Sales × $0.50)
Payhip Net Payout = Monthly Revenue − (Monthly Revenue × 5%)

Whop eliminated its 30% marketplace commission in May 2025, so marketplace-sourced sales now pay the same fees as direct sales. Gumroad's free plan charges 10% + $0.50 per sale (up to 30% for sales sourced via Gumroad Discover). Payhip's free plan charges a flat 5% with no per-transaction fee.
