YouTube AdSense Revenue Formulas

Calculates AdSense payouts for long-form videos and YouTube Shorts, accounting for revenue shares.

Monetized Views = Total Views × Monetized Views Rate
Gross Revenue = (Monetized Views ÷ 1,000) × CPM
Long-Form Net Revenue = Gross Revenue × (1 - YouTube Share Rate)
Shorts Net Revenue = (Shorts Views ÷ 1,000) × Shorts RPM
Total Revenue = Long-Form Net Revenue + Shorts Net Revenue
Blended RPM = (Total Revenue ÷ (Total Views + Shorts Views)) × 1,000

YouTube keeps a 45% share for long-form ads (creator gets 55%), and keeps a 55% share for Shorts ads (creator pool gets 45%).
