YouTube Playlist Length Calculator: Total Watch Time & Duration in 2026

Calculate the total length and watch time of any YouTube playlist. Factor in playback speed and breaks to plan your viewing sessions effectively.

Mathematical Audit

Playlist Length Calculation Formula

Calculates total playlist duration based on number of videos, average length, playback speed adjustments, and optional break time between videos.

Total Duration = Number of Videos × Average Video Length (minutes)
Break Time = (Number of Videos − 1) × Break Between Videos
Adjusted Duration = (Total Duration + Break Time) ÷ Playback Speed
Time Saved = (Total Duration + Break Time) − Adjusted Duration

At 1.5x speed, you save 33% of viewing time. At 2x speed, you save 50%. Break time is only counted between videos, not before the first or after the last.
