Mathematical Audit

Super Chat Revenue Split Formula

Calculates the creator's payout by splitting donations into Web/Android and iOS. iOS donations are subject to Apple's 30% fee first, then YouTube applies its 30% cut on what remains. Web/Android donations are only subject to YouTube's 30% cut.

iOS Donations = Gross Donations * (iOS % / 100)
Web/Android Donations = Gross Donations - iOS Donations
iOS Net Payout = iOS Donations * (1 - Apple Fee 0.30) * (1 - YouTube Fee 0.30)
Web/Android Net Payout = Web/Android Donations * (1 - YouTube Fee 0.30)
Total Pre-Tax Payout = iOS Net Payout + Web/Android Net Payout - Sales Tax
Net Creator Payout = Total Pre-Tax Payout * (1 - Income Tax % / 100)

Apple takes 30% of in-app purchases, then YouTube takes 30% of the remainder. Sales tax is deducted from gross prior to split calculations if configured.
