Vinted Seller Payout Formula
Vinted is unique among resale marketplaces because it charges sellers no listing or selling fee — instead, Vinted charges the buyer a 'buyer protection fee' added on top of the listed price, which the seller never sees or pays. This means a Vinted seller's payout is generally the full listed price, minus the shipping label cost if the seller chose to cover shipping.
Unlike eBay, Poshmark, Depop, or Mercari, Vinted does not deduct a percentage-based selling fee from the seller's payout. The buyer protection fee is added on top of the listed price and paid entirely by the buyer. The seller's only potential cost is the shipping label, if the seller opts to cover shipping instead of the buyer.
